Julian Lynch
https://www.facebook.com/JulianLynchMusic/
The lo-fi bedroom pop of Ridgewood, NJ native Julian Lynch has been woozy enough to earn him collaborations with members of Ducktails and Real Estate. While earning his Ph.D. in ethnomusicology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison — following a stint working for Smithsonian Folkways Recordings — Lynch started recording songs on his four-track. Between 2008 and 2010, he released two 7” records (Droplet on a Hot Stone and a Ducktails split), two CD-Rs (Garden Is Adventure and Born2Run), and two LPs (Orange You Glad and Mare). In 2011 Lynch released full length Terra on the Underwater Peoples label, earning critical raves and reaching a wider audience while he still released the occasional one-off cassette or CDR album. 2013 saw the release of his fourth official full length, the colorfully arranged and composed Lines.

Harper
https://www.facebook.com/harpertheband/
Harper operate in the tradition of many jangle/indie pop/dream pop bands of the 80s, 90s, 00s–from here and abroad–without falling on cliches or into the trappings of so many homage acts cluttering the bins. Nay, Harper add new twist to the thread, with their (deceptively) simple guitar pop and a nice mix of innocence and experience. Join them, and feel memories of hearing Galaxie 500, Felt, or one of those Creation Soup bands that you can’t quite place for the very first time all over again. Or, be ready to hear that deep, chiming kind of thing for the first time yourself.

A Winter Downpour
https://awinterdownpour.bandcamp.com/
Born from the ashes of a dark winter, A Winter Downpour plays moody, introspective songs that explore surviving the beauties and disappointments of everyday life. Frontman Alberto Serrano Rivera founded the band with an acoustic guitar and a handful of songs. The project grew to a full band, including bassist Kevin Zak, guitarist Paul Connolly and drummer Ken Nyberg.
